Grey Leopard

Sleeping grey leopard
How dare you block my way.
No ordinary leopard,
Fur magnificent grey.
Almost at an instant,
I hear myself say,
"run people, run!"
"unsafe it is to stay."
They ran so fast
So terrified
They ran so far away.
I turned around
So horrified
The leopard charged my way.
No chance to run
No place to hide
On a fence I stayed.

Flashback of my entire life
In a single second
I stared into the leopard's eye
As I prepare to die.
It'll scratch my face
And eat my flesh
The worst went through my mind

"purrr" the sound the leopard made
While nudging at my face.
Oh my! What's this?!
I can't believe!
A kitty cat instead?

"will I be safe with lil kitty?"
"I know it means no harm"
deep down I feel this fear within me
For I know that deep deep down
This lil kitty is not a kitty
But a powerful beast instead.
One strike from it
And then that's it
I'm surely to be dead.

The risk I take
My life at stake
A good move have I made?
I can't confirm
But I affirm
I choose to stay.

Snake & Ladder

There comes a point in life where you come to a fork in the road. Knowing what lies ahead of you is what you dream of but life us full of uncertainties . Sooner or later you have to roll that dice. And when you do, you have to realize that it is YOU who decide to roll that dice and it is YOU who are willing to take that chance. Take the classic snake & ladder board game for instance. The dice might lead you to an advance up the ladder OR you might get eaten by the snake and demoted down to a few levels. Either way, you are going to make that move and whatever it is, you're still going to roll that dice to get to the end. So regardless on where the dice leads you to, make the experience count. There is no right or wrong but one should focus on the experience instead.

Coffee. Scientific lab style.

Great coffee to start your day with. This is one of the many ways to brew your coffee. Cute lil experiment like mechanism.brief explanation: Coffee beans on top, H2O at the bottom. Burner heats up the glass containing the H2O and steam will go up to the crushed coffee bean. When the heat is removed from the bottom of the glass, delish coffee will replace the place of the H2O. A lil extra work, but the taste is worth it :)

The Tower Crane

Okeh! So yesterday was a very productive day. Went to see my client in Negeri Sembilan. Discussed on the issues that they have been facing and how to move forward with our new range of engines. The best part is I get to climb one of their tower cranes! (jakun) unfortunately I wasnt dressed for the occasion. Had no safety shoes on and I happen to carry my big ass handbag. To make matters worse, way high on the tower crane was an oil spill in their engine room. Talk about luck. But hey, a lil oil won't hurt ya. So I went up anyway. With my heels and bimbo handbag ;) alhamdulillah manage to climb up and down safe and sound. I must say, the heels kinda helped me balance my footing position =) and the handbag is believed to maintain the stability while climbing (sounds better that way) ||climb in style||

A new style

Got bored with the dull straight hair. Figured it needed some volume. Got it done! Woohoo! I know, it might cost me more of my time and money maintaining it but a fresh look will definitely be good. And so far, am LOVING it baybeh!

Appreciate the moment.

Sometimes, in our busy schedule, we forget to just take a moment to appreciate the small things in life. Never take these small things for granted. Who knows, it won't always be there for you to admire and appreciate someday. This for instance:- The sun setting at the far horizon is a daily phenomenon, but did we ever pay attention to it? don't just wait for a vacation by the seaside to appreciate sunset. You see it everyday.

Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra

So, was browsing through the web one day looking for fun things to do (yeah,boring right) and Orchestra popped into my head right away. Checked out the website for their upcoming performances AND the Danis brothers were going to play again!! whoopie! The first show that I went to was their show and they left me mesmerized by their pure talent! (First time i went was with my parents and sisters. and we all enjoyed it. ) Tickets were only at RM10 because its their MPO Happy Hour (i'm guessing its an annual thingy). This time around, passes for me & passes for mi chico. And it was very worth it. 

The acoustic quality was superb. Lighting was just nice. Manage to book front seats so that we had clearer view (But just found out, the further the seats are to the stage, the better - probably something to do with the sound propagation or something) yeah, but we got to see them up close and at one point, dapat nampak Miroslav Danis's violin string terputus! And dapat nampak his expression while he was playing. It's as if he is in love with the violin and it shows with every note he plays. du'uh! of course he is in love with his music coz he play such beautiful notes..Intense performance, no?!.

The magical instruments: violin, piano, guitar, bass, trumpet, saxophone...

No cameras were allowed so couldn't take any shots. Excellent excellent excellent performance. Highly recommended. Just go to www.mpo.com.my to check out other upcoming performances.

Since we cant take photos inside the concert hall, we just camWhored around KLCC. So, looking forward to experience some musical enlightenment again! soon!

Puteh & Saloma

P Ramlee was (and still is) a legend in the entertainment industry. A lot of modern Malaysian films and music are inspired by him, consciously or unconsciously, directly or indirectly. His movies does not age with time since every single generation til today know how to appreciate his movies. My personal favorite is Pendekar Bujang Lapok. Do Re Mi.. Haa...classic! His life story is a sad one though.. and I do not wish to elaborate it here. One thing for sure, in our Malaysian hearts, he will always be legendary..

With that said, meet Puteh & Saloma. Our new member of the family. (Sgt tak related with the above kan ^_^ ) Puteh likes to bite. Saloma likes to run. And both of em likes to sleep A LOT.i mean REALLY a lot. every chance that they get, tido je.. housewarming gift from Tau & Joe. Never had a pet hamster. Lets see if they survive..mwahahaha

Myra & Fauzan | the BIG day

Last Friday, 4th Feb, witnessed a very eventful moment for my buddy, Myra and her lucky guy--> Pojan. The akad nikah! Big step into the next phase of life. And im truly happy for them. Alhamdulillah everything went well. They both look stunning, the setting & lighting was excellent, the whole house was filled (more nervousness for Pojan kot - but he did well).

Whenever i go to an akad nikah, i will not fail to notice the father of the bride. He will always have the widest smile carved on his face. The smile is like taking the whole smiles in the room combined. I've been to a few and all of them show that similar smile. Im guessing its the sign of 'Alhamdulillah, everything went well' and 'my daughter will be in good hands insyaAllah' (Im just guessing). I saw the same smile on Uncle Mohar on that day.

Same smile on my papa too during Bubu & my akad nikah. Im very thankful that papa became my wali because at first, he said leave it to the imam coz he is a professional. But last minute, tada~ 

Myra & Pojan looked stunning dressed in white. And on this beautiful day, this two love birds have finally tied the knot! after sooooo long.. woohoo... join the club baybeh~

The kadi stole the show for a bit though. He went on to give his ceramah which lasted quite a bit. Well it's his job. And yeah, its beneficial for the younger generation, at the same time refresh balik pakcik2 punya understanding. Saw a few pakciks nodding to his statements (so yeah, the kadi's mission accomplished)

Anywayz, I wish them all the best in their married life. Some photos to share^^
